Yes, I Voted for Donald Trump

I have never been one to support openly one candidate or another. How you vote is your business.

I write this BEFORE the election results are in so that it won’t be seen as “sour grapes” or “nanny nanny  boo boo.”

With that being said, I voted for Donald Trump today.  Why?
Yes, he is arrogant.  Yes, he has a dim view of women.  Yes, he is brash.  Yes, his economic plan will probably not work.  No, I am not comfortable with him having a finger on the button.  And there are countless other reasons that I don’t particularly care for him.
BUT, my main reason for voting for Donald Trump is the Supreme Court.

I look at how much different our country is from when I was a kid.  Yes, a long time ago I know but for those of you who can think back.

We had prayer before class.
The PA guy prayed before ball games.
We had CHRISTMAS BREAK and CHRISTMAS PLAYS at school
No one was offended when I said “Merry Christmas”
We didn’t have to be careful of how we phrased things, there was no political correctness.
We had Easter Egg hunts at school
We were able to call sin sin and if you were offended, that was on you.
Nobody pointed out that our money had “In God We Trust” on it.
There were no lawsuits over nativity scenes.

I could write all night.  But do you remember when that was the case?  What happened?

Liberalism and liberal judges.

You really need look no farther than the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals of the United States.  According to the most current count, the Ninth Circuit has the highest percentage (68%) of sitting judges appointed by Democratic presidents.  Through 2008, the Ninth Circuit Court's rulings reviewed by the Supreme Court were affirmed only 20% of the time and reversed and or vacated 80% of the time (the average reversal rate nationwide is about 60%).  With a liberal Supreme Court, those reversals probably won’t happen.

Here are just a few examples of the 9th Circuit decisions:

The court ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional because it includes the phrase "under God

The court overturned the death sentences of more than 100 inmates in three Western states because a judge, instead of a jury, had found them eligible for the death penalty.

The court ruled individuals have no constitutional right to own guns and that state laws banning assisted suicide violate the 14th Amendment.

The court ruled natvity scenes banned in a park in Santa Monica.

This court is so bad, Arizona petitioned the Supreme Court to divorce itself from the 9th Circuit.

If Hillary Clinton wins this election, watch out.  She will appoint at least 2 judges and possibly 5 if she is an 8 year president.  Your rights under the constitution are in peril in a “with her” presidency.  Because these are the type judges she will appoint.  Thankfully, all of those decisions were overturned by the Supreme Court, but that won't happen with a Hillary Court.

These liberal judges read the constitution how some people want to read the Bible.  “Yes, that is what it says, but that isn’t what it means.”  You have heard this and it makes very little sense to me.

I have not (and will not) even go into the Supreme Court rulings that most people are talking about.  Many of those will not be reversed with a Trump Court (I don’t think) but with a Hillary Court I fear someday I will be:

Celebrating Merry Winter Holiday (no mention of Christ in Christmas)
Celebrating Happy Springtime Extended Weekend (no Good Friday or Easter)
Attending a Center of Non-Descript Celebration of a Higher Being
Standing in line to see a doctor under a National Health Care plan
Checking the news to see where today’s bombs went off
Killed for my belief in God and Jesus Christ His Son and carrying my Bible in public

There might be:

Babies Killed AT Birth
People being arrested for closing there eyes more than 5 seconds in public for fear they are praying
Folks being arrested for owning a sling shot
Dictionaries without the words sin, God, Christian, minister, Christ, etc.

You are laughing.  But if Hillary wins tonight, please print this out and date it.  In 8 years, pull it out and see if you are still laughing.

Yes, I voted for Donald Trump.  If you didn't, I love you, but I hope you are prepared for the consequences.
